Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall, Wales – Pistyll Rhaeadr (the spring of the waterfall) is traditionally described as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales, alongside Snowdon, Llangollen, Wrexham, Overton, Gresford & St Winefride’s Well. It falls more than 230 ft in three stages- one through an “eye” of rock – over a 240 feet Silurian cliff. It is the highest waterfall in Wales. At the bottom the river becomes the Afon Rhaeadr and there is a 4 mile walk to the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, following the aptly named Waterfall Street.
